AIR AND SPACE LAW COMMITTEE
SCHOOL OF LAW

About the Committee

The development of International Civil Aviation has catapulted us into a new era of connectivity. Aviation has become a crucial part of every modern economy and it is imperative to have proper law and regulations in place to govern it. Similarly, a fundamental shift in space activities is now taking place which is propelling the growth and importance of Space Law and Policy. The inception of the Air and Space Law Committee at School of Law, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bangalore marks a huge step in exploring and developing the legal framework that governs air and space.

The Air and Space Law Committee, School of Law, CHRIST (Deemed to be University) aims to provide a unique platform for students to discover and appreciate these avenues. The Committee intends to do so by organising seminars, conferences, etc. to facilitate deliberations among the stakeholders on the various issues that confront Air and Space Law, to create awareness and develop skills in Air and Space Law through various activities like essay competitions, blogs, panel discussions, industry and alumni linking, web talks, etc.
